Danny Caro's Div 1 TOTW: September 15

articlemain

Some of the summer signings are settling into their clubs nicely, while the established ones made their mark again.

1. Michael RHODES (SPEC FC) - "dominant from crosses in difficult conditions. When he wasn’t punching the ball it was stuck to his hands like glue"

2. Jon MORRIS (Southgate Harmen) - "Captino led by example through-out the game. Putting his body on his line for the Harmen cause"

3. Mitch GREEN (Southgate Harmen) - dominated in the air and comfortable with the ball at his feet

4. Jason DAVIS (Brady Maccabi B) - "commanding performance. His partnership with Henry Ziff provided the basis of the victory. Excellent reading of the game"

5. Scott KAY (NW Neasden) - "solid at the back once again. His long-range passing was excellent, creating chances for hi team-mates. Capped his top performance with a very well-taken goal"

6. Craig PEARL ((Chigwell) - energetic box-to-box display capped with a goal

7. Ben WEINBERG (Southgate Harmen) - "midfield maestro was world class in the middle of the park. Even when down to 10 men he bossed the game and made his presence felt"

8. Michael GOLDBERG (NW Neasden) - "played excellently in midfield, acted as a playmaker. Dangerous going forward all game"

9. Sam CASTLE (Southgate Harmen) – “hold-up play was Drogba-esq”

10. Steve SUMMERS (Chigwell) – terrorised Blancos with his close control, hold up play and capped it all off with a brilliant goal

11. Dean BEN YOSEF (Chigwell) – “great goal with first touch and looked sharp”
