Brixton, Harmen, Blancos and Brady excelled on Matchday 11 of the MGBSFL. The efforts of their players are reflected in this Select XI.
1. Sam CASTLE (Southgate Harmen) - provided excellent cover in goal with the club's first-choice goalkeeper unavailable. Didn't put a hand wrong against the leaders
2. Benjy ISRAEL (Los Blancos) - "marshalled the defence extremely well" against Shirley
3. Mitch GREEN (Southgate Harmen) - "was a rock at the back, keeping in-form Mitch Hahn quiet for 90 minutes, also scored a great header"
4. James SANDLER (Southgate Harmen) - "brilliant job in the middle of midfield. Did everything right and let Ben Weinberg and Oliver Leslie license to play in front of him"
5. Josh LAURIER (Brady Maccabi B) - at the heart of everything good about Brady on Sunday
6. Sean EKON (Brixton Old Boys) - his purple patch in front of goal continued his another against Hendon B
7. Daniel HARROD (Brady Maccabi B) - "a proper captains' display from the Brady skipper. Drove the team forward with a superb all-action display and dominated the all important midfield area
8. Reiss MOGILNER (Brady Maccabi B) - "Brady danger man back to his best with two crucial goals and an assist in a win against SPEC"
9. Alex BOWMAN (Southgate Harmen) - "scored one and assisted two. Worked hard up top by himself. Will be pleased with his morning's works"
10. Jono GAON (Los Blancos) - all eyes were on the free-scoring Shirley strikers, but Gaon clearly hadn't read the script, smashing home five goals in a brilliant 90-minute display. It doesn't get better than this!
11. Dean ROSENTHAL (Brixton Old Boys) - gave Hendon the rocket with a quality double
