Brady edge it in seven-goal thriller

Cup winners Brady Maccabi A maintained their march towards a double by beating South Mancs 4-3 with goals from Scott Ansher (2), David Rose and Laurence Myers in Division One. Bradley Lazarus, Nick Roman and Richard Smith scored for Mancs in the Division One clash. Glenthorne United A, who have played three games more, remain a point ahead, kept up the pressure at the top with a 4-2 win over EDRS. Paul van Gelder (2), Danny Seller and Adam Lennard were their marksmen. Guest players Paul Herszaft and Steve Kreiger replied for EDRS.

Division Two champions London Maccabi Lions B dispatched Faithfold B 7-1 courtesy of David Price (3), David Pollock, Marc Morris, Andy Landesberg and Adam Lee. Pel City continued their improvement with a point from a 1-1 draw with Clayhall A. Brian Deal netted for Clayhall, Andrew Cohen scoring for Pel.

Temple Fortune moved into fourth place with a 5-0 win over Clayhall B, with James Ryan (2), Steve Feiger, Allon Schick-Maier and Peter Kyte doing the damage. Trevor Tucker and Pete Sugarman were on target as Brady C came from two down to draw against Glenthorne B.
