Brady B move for Newman

articlemain

Brady B have are believed to have completed the signing of SPEC forward David Newman - breaking their club record in the process.

Brady had failed in their attempts to sign Newman this summer, but they have now captured their man after months of negotiations. Newman, 25, has signed on a two-year deal.

Brady manager Josh Dagul told JC Sport: "David is a great player, with proven quality in England and in America. We have watched and admired him for some time as he has all the attributes I look for in an Brady player.

"I said throughout the summer that we had been working hard to bring in top quality players to this football club.

"This has involved many, many people across the club and I have always had the full support of the club in making decisions on the football side."

Elliott Dagul, Chairman of the Brady Supporters Trust said: "This is an exciting day for all of us. We have signed a great player who will help in our push for promotion."

It is yet to been seen if Newman, already on five goals this season, will be thrust straight into action against title rivals Southgate Harmen on Sunday. But the 5ft 9in striker is set to join Reiss Mogilner and Josh Laurier in a new-look Brady forward line that will strike fear into the hearts of Division One defenders.
