Berman defeated in Boys Australian Open final

Sean Berman was beaten in straights sets in the Junior Boys final at the Australian Open.

Unseeded Berman, 17, went down 6-3, 7-5 against 14th seed Tiago Fernandes of Brazil.

On his way to the final, Berman, who was born in South Africa, overcame third seed Jason Kubler in the quarter-finals.
