Avram helps Partizan win Serbian title

Avram Grant claimed his first trophy since leaving Israel after steering Partizan Belgrade to the Super League title in Serbia.

A 4-0 victory over Borac Cacak confirmed Partizan as champions for the fifth consecutive season.

Grant said: “It’s a great feeling to win the title with three games to spare. We have reaped the rewards of playing attacking and free-scoring football throughout the campaign.”

Now manager Grant is already looking ahead to next season. “We need to get ready for the Champions League qualifiers and winning through to the group stage,” he said.
