2012 Paralympics: Day 5 round-up

Israel failed to claim its four medal of the Games despite having two athletes in one final on Monday.

SWIMMING
Iad Joseph Shalabi finished fifth in 2:24:73 and Itzhak Mamistvalov finished in sixth place in a time of 2:25:60 in the Men's 100m final at the Aquatics Centre in Stratford.

Mamistvalov won bronze in the 200m Freestyle on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the competition, Erel Halevi in the 100m Freestyle heats, with Yoav Valinsky also claiming sixth position, this time in the 200m Individual Medley.

TENNIS
Noam Gershony and Shraga Weinberg missed out on a place in the final of the Wheelchair Tennis after going down 6-3, 7-6 against Americans Nicholas Taylor and David Wagner.

Gershony, Weinberg and Boaz Kramer will be hoping for better luck in the Quad Singles quarter-finals tomorrow.

SAILING
Dror Cohen, Arnon Efrati and Benny Vexler finished 11th in Heat 6 of the Sailing competition in Weymouth.
