A wealth of space

articlemain

Affluent buyers looking for extra space are now able to purchase a prime apartment six times the average UK house size on London's Billionaires' Row, with the launch of 14 palatial properties at 49 The Bishops Avenue.

James Reed, development director for 49 The Bishops Avenue, says: "Space is always at a premium in London and this development boasts some of the largest apartments, at more than 5,000 sq ft. The homes are extremely elegant and come with 24-hour concierge, an on-site fitness suite and hydrospa, for optimum privacy. In addition to the sheer size of the apartments, the discreet location has attracted considerable interest."

Set on a hill, the village also offers some of the most spectacular views in London. Close to Highgate and Hampstead golf courses and the heritage site of Kenwood House, 49 The Bishops Avenue consists of three detached blocks on two acres of walled landscaped gardens.

There is direct lift access to apartments, 24-hour on-site security personnel, individual apartment intruder alarms, development-wide CCTV and electronic entry gates.

Of the remaining apartments, One Maple Court, Two Maple Court and One Ebony Court have living space of more than 5,000 sq ft, the latter arranged across a single level. The properties for sale in Maple Court have four en-suite bedrooms, with a dressing room to the master. There is a separate kitchen and dining room, a family room, terraces to all three ground-floor bedrooms and a private garden. Two Maple Court also has planning permission for an enclosed roof terrace.

On the ground floor, One Ebony Court has four en-suite bedrooms and a master dressing room, as well as a living area/kitchen of more than 780 sq ft. It also features four terraces and a private south-facing garden, a family room, a separate utility area and ample storage. Two Hazel Court is a two-bedroom apartment of more than 2,400 sq ft with three terraces and a roof garden. Set over the second and third floors, it has a dedicated media room, a 350 sq ft roof terrace and access to a roof garden.

Features include remote-controlled gas fires, underfloor heating, air-cooling, a centrally controlled audio-visual system with 42in plasma TV screens fitted to master bedrooms and some family rooms.

Agents are Knight Frank and Glentree Internatonal.
