Kim Kardashian apologises for ‘offensive’ pro-Israel tweet

articlemain

Kim Kardashian deleted a pro-Israel message on Twitter after she received a torrent of abuse from pro-Palestinian organisations.

The reality TV star told more than 16,660,000 followers that she was “praying for everyone in Israel” on Friday morning.

However, she was subsequently called a “disgrace” and told: “Die in hell” by angry opponents.

Ms Kardashian tried to placate attackers by saying she was: “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world.”

Both tweets were subsequently deleted.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians-star apologised for the messages on her blog. “I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologise.”
