Rakusen’s said it had worked hard to ensure the product was of the highest quality, “so to discover that some of our matzos were far below out usual standard has been disappointing”.
It said it was unsure as to what caused the defects in the matzah production.
“We are undertaking a full investigation to discover the reasons why this unacceptable incident has occurred,” the company said.
Rakusen’s urged customers who “had the misfortune of finding their matzos to be of an unacceptable standard, to please email Sales@rakusens.co.uk”.
