Pensioners face arrest

Police have issued an arrest warrant for an elderly Jewish couple who failed to turn up to court after they were accused of sending their daughter an abusive letter.

Hedy Freedman, 71, and Steven Freedman, 76, are alleged to have dispatched the letter to Danielle Hampson.

The couple, who were charged sending an indecent or offensive message, failed to attend Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
