Looters hit Amy Winehouse's former home

articlemain

Singer Amy Winehouse’s former home has reportedly been hit by looters who stole items worth more than £130,000.

Two iconic dresses, including the Back to Black-star’s wedding dress and a newsprint dress worn during a television appearance, were stolen from the property in Camden, north London, according to the Sun.

Mitch Winehouse, father of the late singer, described the acts as “another blow”. The items were due to be auctioned to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

The singer, whose ashes are interred at the Jewish Edgwarebury cemetery in north west London, died last year at the age of 27 after a reported drug overdose.
