F1 BOSS Bernie Ecclestone has faced a barrage of criticism over his comments in which he appeared to praise Hitler’s leadership.

And our revelation that he used former Labour spin doctor Peter Mandelson to help him with his ‘crisis management’ did not go down well with many in the community.

Ecclestone’s comments appeared in an interview with the Times on Saturday. But today the debate is still raging after the stories were picked up by many leading bloggers and pundits.

This is what these guys really think, and with the money they have comes the power and the power they have they are using for their own benefit, and in this situation power does corrupt.. The more publicity these jokers get eventually people in the FiA will get the message and do something about it.

1. Ecclestone remains, despite his marital problems, a stunningly wealthy individual;
2. Labour is broke;
3. It is likely still to be broke next year;
4. There is a general election next year
5. General elections are expensive things;
6. Ecclestone gave money to Labour once before, though that particular donation went distinctly pear-shaped as a cloud of sleaze descended upon it;
7. Mandelson is none too particular where donations come from;
8. Helping this obnoxious little man out of the hole he has just dug for himself might just be met with a handsome acknowledgement of his gratitude.
9. A cheque for a million quid can be in the post before you can say "Mandy for PM!

Lord Peter Longtitle and his choice of friends gets ever more interesting. Let us not forget FI, tobacco money, Tony Blair and Nulabour all had a jolly coming together not so many years ago. As Bernie Dumbostone likes dictators perhaps the unelected Deputy Prime Minister has begged him not to sound off about EU politics just prior to the Irish second referendum!

Fitting really. Mandy clearly also believes democracy is over-rated being a non-elected deputy to an unelected PM. Does anyone believe that they wouldn't abolish voting if they thought they could get away with it?
