What fate awaits his TV date?

It won’t be a total black-out for Aran Clayton (above), 22, who is soon to appear on ITV’s Saturday night dating show, Take Me Out.

The former King David Manchester High School pupil can be seen wooing 30 single girls, all desperate to meet their Mr Right.

The student, and part-time club promoter, tries to impress them by dancing his way down the “lift of love”. “I was looking around to see which girls looked the most Jewish, but it was almost impossible to tell,” he said. “It is not like I was looking for a wife, it was just fun to do..”

After showing off his moves, it was over to his mother to try to persuade the girls to keep the lights on for her son to stay in the game. But whether he leaves with a girl on his arm, you’ll have to wait till the show goes out on February 8
