Could Kaddish be recited at the funeral of Glen Campbell, the country music singer who died this week?

Mr Campbell, famous for his 1975 hit 'Rhinestone Cowboy,' died on Tuesday, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

California’s Jewish Journal speculated Kaddish could be recited at his funeral, as Campbell and his wife Kim were practicing Messianic Jews.

The paper recalled a Reuters interview from 2008 which reported a menorah on the mantelpiece of the Campbells’ home, their celebration of Rosh Hashanah and Passover, and his wife Kim’s “mean brisket”.
