Chancellor’s wife Maggie Darling hosted a reception for over 100 JBD supporters at 11 Downing Street to celebrate the charity’s 40th anniversary. The celebration was also an opportunity to raise awareness of the charity’s services. JBD chairman John Joseph told the gathering that many people “living in poor circumstances don’t know we exist”.
