Protesters interrupted a performance by an Israeli dance troupe on three occasions at a show on Thursday evening in Edinburgh.

The Batsheva Dance Company performed "Hora" as part of the Edinburgh International Festival. Two more performances are scheduled for this week.

Anti-Israel activists gathered outside the venue to protest Batsheva's presence, and a group of demonstrators managed to enter the auditorium.

According to the BBC they disrupted the dance three times but did not cause it to finish early. Up to 12 activists were ejected from the theatre after interrupting the dancers.
