Hannah Rich makes her radio debut at five years old

articlemain

At the age of five, Hannah Rich must surely be one of the nation's youngest radio stars.

A pupil at St Helen's School in Northwood, Hannah recently featured on 40 different BBC Radio stations across the UK. The programme focused on how religions are reaching out to young people.

Hannah and her father Ben Rich were interviewed about Tot Shabbat - a service at Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue which they attend. Introduced by Rabbi Aaron Goldstein, Tot Shabbat welcomes parents who want to teach their children about Judaism. Children sing songs, play plastic instruments, go on the bimah and recite brachas.

Hannah tells People: " I really liked being on the radio. I told my school friends about it. I told the man on the radio about Tot Shabbat and how I play the drum, open the ark and count in hebrew."
