Advertising agency BBR Saatchi&Saatchi have launched a competition to create “out of the box” solutions on how to bring Israel and the Palestinians together.

The most inspiring entries will be chosen by a panel and presented to Israeli and Palestinian politicians, with the winner receiving a pass to the 2011 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.

The agency said: “We wanted to channel creativity to help solve a much bigger problem and one that is close to our hearts.

“We hope the creative submissions will provide new, fresh perspectives to a very complex issue.”

Actor Ben Stiller has even given his endorsement to the campaign. Click through to see some of the ideas people have come up with.
