The Jewish man charged with the murder of his mother and sister will go on trial early next year. 

Joshua Cohen is accused of fatally stabbing Leah and Hannah Cohen at the family’s home in Golders Green, in north-west London.

Sitting at the Central Criminal Court on Wednesday, Judge Nicholas Hilliard set the trial for February 5, with a plea and preparation hearing on November 1.

Mr Cohen, 27, of Golders Green, was not present in court. No application for bail was made and he was remanded in custody.
