This is Jason Lipman, the lead singer of new rock band, Kill 21.
Formed in 2008, the group describe themselves as a classic rock band with modern elements.
The five-man formation also features 28-year-old guitarist Blake Grams, who has Jewish roots.
Kill 21 have recently been signed by Copro Records and released their first album, Shoot On Sight. Mr Lipman, a 24-year-old from north London, tells People: "Our music is quite a heavy form of rock but there is melody within it.
"We can therefore appeal to different audiences, who like music from various genres. We have always tried to write catchy songs. The vocals can be crazy, but it is something you can definitely get into."
He says the band members all have similar tastes.
"I listen to pop, country and blues as well as heavy metal.
"When writing songs, inspiration comes from Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC and Guns N' Roses, but basically we have a jam and see where it goes.
"The theme of the album is about the world falling apart and finding a new path to figure out what to do. It sounds moody but it is with good intent."
