Two elderly women have been stabbed in a terror attack in Jerusalem.
According to Haaretz, five women in their 70s had gone for a walk in the city's Armon Hanatziv neighbourhood when they were attacked by two masked individuals.
Both women were rushed to a local hospital in moderate condition, the Magen David Adom rescue service said.
An MDA spokesperson said the two were fully conscious.
One of the women sustained stab wounds to her limbs and upper body, while the other sustained wounds to her upper body.
Police said two stabbers, both of whom were masked, fled the scene toward the nearby East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber.
Board of Deputies Of British Jews Vice President Richard Verber said: “The Board of Deputies expresses its revulsion at the stabbing attack on two elderly women walking in a park in Jerusalem. Palestinian terror is hateful and never justifiable.
"The Palestinian Authority shares the responsibility due to its failure to stop incitement and glorification of violence.”
