Trinny & Susannah: what Israelis should wear

articlemain

British fashion gurus Trinny and Susannah have shared some style tips with the British Ambassador to Israel at a party at his Ramat Gan home.

Matthew Gould and wife Celia hosted the celebrity-filled party in honour of the pair, who are filming a makeover series in Israel for Channel 10. Other guests at the party, dubbed the ambassador’s "best dressed event yet", included model Galit Guttman, designer Galit Levy and former international footballer Itzik Zohar.

Mr Gould told the fashion duo that they should not be afraid to speak their mind while discussing wardrobe disasters with Israeli women.

He said: "If there's one place in the world where your plain, direct and straightforward manner is going to go down well - it's Israel!

“Just be warned that you might get as good as you give!"

Trinny and Susannah, who shot to fame with the BBC show What Not to Wear, said that they were thrilled to be in Israel and were having a great time.

Trinny joked that there was potential to do a whole series dedicated to Israeli men’s fashion.

She said: "The men need a lot of work."
