A team of Israelis won an MTV award on Sunday for their work on Coldplay's latest video.
Israeli directors Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia won best visual effects at the MTV Music Video Awards in New York for Coldplay's Up&Up video, which has had over 75 million views on YouTube since it was posted on May 16.
The surreal video features synchronized swimmers in a teacup leaping off a diving board into a pool of puffy white clouds and a volcano popping popcorn.
Coldplay's Chris Martin described the video as "one of the best videos people have made".
He said: “It’s made by these Israeli guys. These young guys. I can’t believe that that’s our video. If that was someone else’s video, I’d be so jealous.”
The duo were also nominated for the best director award, but lost out to Beyonce.
