The Ashdod resident, who left the Israeli army under normal circumstances in 2009, uploaded an album labelled "IDF – the best time of my life" to the social networking site.
The pictures, now removed from her Facebook page, show Ms Abergil in uniform beside handcuffed and blindfolded detainees.
Below one of the photographs she had "joked": "I wonder if he is on Facebook too – I'll have to tag him in the photo."
Ms Abergil has since explained her actions.
She said: "There's no violence or intention to humiliate anyone in the pictures. I just had my picture taken with them in the background.
“It wasn't a political statement or any kind of statement.
