articlemain

The British ambassador to Israel will be celebrating the Royal Wedding with more than 750 guests in Tel Aviv tomorrow.

Matthew Gould will be joined by Israel's top actors, footballers and business leaders, as well as politicians including Defence Minister Ehud Barak.

The party, to be held at the Yitzhak Rabin Centre in Ramat Aviv, will not only mark the marriage of Prince William to Kate Middleton, but also celebrate the Queen's Birthday.

The ceremony will be shown on a big screen. Guests will be served British delicacies including fish and chips and strawberries and cream, to the musical accompaniment of Beatles tribute band Magical Mystery Tour.
