Support for the campaign to beat BDS and help the homeless grew this week with grassroots groups across the country signing up.
Sussex Friends of Israel and North West Friends of Israel launched IsrAction Day calling on people to buy Israeli products and donate them to homeless charities.
The nationwide effort, backed by the JC, will take place on December 21, the Sunday during Chanucah.
Fiona Sharp, a member of the SFI executive, said: "We've had a fantastic response.
"The Zionist Federation will be taking care of distribution and collection in London and will be organising drop off points for people who want to donate goods.
"Stand With Us is supporting us in the UK and promoting the day internationally. Merseyside Friends of Israel are also on board as are the Leeds Lobby Network in Yorkshire." Pro-Israel groups in Ireland had also joined.
Ms Sharpe said a branch of Sainsbury's in Brighton, which had been targeted by boycotters, was stocking up on Israeli products especially so shoppers could take part.
