The United Synagogue's new Young People and Young Families division has appointed David Collins as director. The department brings together the work of Tribe - of which Mr Collins was executive director - Young US, cheders and schools, with the aim of giving them a greater profile within the organisation.

"Young people are at the heart of the US and I'm excited to start implementing changes that were highlighted in our strategic review," Mr Collins said.
