Rise of worrying attitudes

articlemain

CST communications director Mark Gardner told a Holocaust symposium that the hope that antisemitism would become “an ugly irrelevance” had been shattered by a steady escalation in hate crime and a continuing Jihadist terrorist threat.

“Only an idiot or a racist would say that all Muslims are antisemitic but far too many do hold deeply worrying antisemitic attitudes,” Mr Gardner told an invitation-only audience of 200 at Northwood and Pinner Liberal shul.

Paul Giannasi, head of the cross-government hate crime programme, was also on the panel, chaired by Master of the Rolls and Head of Civil Justice Lord Dyson. The symposium was organised by the Northwood Holocaust Memorial Day events committee.
