Ref gets shirty for The Fed

articlemain

Premier League referee Anth-ony Taylor was onside for Manchester welfare charity The Fed when he addressed a fundraiser at its Heathlands Village.

Mindful of the stars he will once again encounter on English grounds next season, anecdotes relating to his favourite and least favourite players were shared on condition of confidentiality.

The Mancunian official - who refereed international matches and the Manchester United/Everton FA Cup semi-final during the 2015/16 season - also posed with audience members, displaying his jersey from last month's Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, where he was an additional assistant.

The evening raised £1,400.
