North London Muslim-Jewish friendship group Unity is celebrating its first anniversary with a series of events this month.

Unity projects have included Mitzvah Day and Sadaqa Day activities, donating and packing goods for Syrian refugees abroad, cooking for the New North London Synagogue’s drop-in for asylum seekers and a Big Iftar meal and fundraiser.
