LJCC ready to cook

articlemain

The London Jewish Cultural Centre in Golders Green is cooking up a storm following the donation of a new kitchen.

Gifted by Poggenpohl, it will be used for cookery classes, demonstrations and event catering. LJCC marketing director Mandy King said the kitchen added “another string to our educational bow — we’re thrilled”.

The new kitchen would also help in the staging of simchas and fundraisers, allowing kosher catering for meat or milk functions. Cooking classes will be restricted to dairy.

Poggenpohl director Robert Laurie said: “We support different charities in different ways and we were happy to serve a community that we’re closely involved with.”
