Blossoming painting tribute to Anne Frank

articlemain

A painting by a St John's Wood artist is to be hung in Anne Frank House on the 50th anniversary of its opening.

Cindy Lass will join Eva Schloss, Anne's step-sister, in Amsterdam to hand over her painting, No Time to Blossom. It depicts the chestnut tree Anne could see from her attic hideaway.

Mrs Lass, who has previously been commissioned by Sir Elton John and George Michael, hoped the painting's message would resonate with future generations. "Everyone has the right to blossom."
