A prominent chazan and glass blower has been found guilty of sexual assault of a teenage girl.
Jason Blair, from Mill Hill, North West London, was bailed on Friday ahead of sentencing on May 22.
He was convicted at St Albans Crown Court of five counts of sexual assault of a girl who was aged 13 and 14 at the time of the offences, which took place between 2015 and 2016 in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.
Only one victim was involved.
Blair is known in the community for his work as a glass-blower, creating pieces for chupahs, and also as a chazan and events manager for bar mitzvah parties.
The 47-year-old has also worked as a tutor for bar mitzvah boys.
