articlemain

Good news for cookery fans. Mother-of-three Carol Savage has created a free website, which enables users to create, store and share their favourite recipes - and publish them in a personalised cookbook.

MyDish.co.uk, which attracts around 30,000 visitors a month, also invites people to create community groups specific to their culinary interests. Among the most popular recent additions are the kosher kitchen and Wizo groups. Recipes include Passover quiche and Claudia's kugel. Ms Savage, 42, tells People: "When my husband's mum died, he brought home two scraps of paper with her hand-written recipes on. I realised a lot of us have treasured recipes and that it would be a brilliant thing if people were able to store and share them."

She has since created a facility whereby users can publish their own recipe book.
Home is in Elstree, Hertfordshire. She is a member of Elstree Liberal Synagogue.
