A British woman has been arrested in connection with an alleged plot against an Italian synagogue.
Scotland Yard said the woman, 40, was being questioned over allegations that she was collecting information that could aid terrorism.
The plot was said to be aimed at the main synagogue in Milan. Earlier today Italian police arrested a Moroccan-born man who they said had maps showing security plans for the synagogue.
The man, 20, has lived in Italy since he was six. He was arrested in town 60 miles from Milan.
It is not clear yet whether the two arrests are linked, although Scotland Yard ahs been in contact with the Italian police.
