NOMINATIONS

FAIRLOP FC

Brad Porter (D) - a faultless display on his return to the side. Defended like a lion, winning virtually every header and even managed to pop up with his first goal for the club

----------------------

OAKWOOD B

Jacob Richler-Kleiman (F) - to come back from two surgeries and eight months out, and play 120 minutes and score is nothing short of heroic. An Oakwood legend into his fifth season of scoring goals and many in the team could learn a lot from him. Almost a fairytale ending

Ben Lewis (GK) - a half dozen brilliant saves. Has very much found his voice

Max Clynes (D) - excellent performance at the back. Won all his headers and gave nothing away

Josh Pugh (CM) - his best performance since joining the club. Got his foot on the ball and got us playing nice football, especially in the first half

Zak Summerfield (F) - another awesome performance from a new signing. He uses his frame so well, he’s so physically strong and he beat his full-back Brad Gayer time and time again. Amazing effort and unlucky not to score

----------------------

MILL HILL DONS

Isaac Virchis (CB) - the man making his debut today, stepped up to the occasion and solidified the defence. He read the game to perfection, making crucial interceptions whilst also playing superb balls out from the back

Daniel Lande (LB) - you won’t find many full backs in Jewish football with better feet than Daniel Lande. He played a huge part in two of the goals, with a bullet throw-in to Ryan Kramer for our third and the cross for our fourth. He was never beaten down his line and just bossed the game throughout

Josh Cinna (CB) - won every single aerial battles that was there to be won. He looked imperious throughout and was an ever calming influence with the ball at his feet. A big performance from last year’s Dons Player of The Year

ALSO NOMINATED BY HERTSWOOD VALE - Josh Cinna deserves a place in the team of the week. When I say we didn’t trouble the Dons too much, what I really mean is, Josh Cinna stopped us in our tracks at every occasion. Without a doubt the best CB in our division and definitely should be playing at a higher level - If Jordan Sapler is reading this, put him on your radar!

Sam Stead (CM) - aka Abdoulaye Doucouré and Will Hughes moulded into one. He is perfect, well-rounded midfielder and he showed once again what he’s capable of today. He made the crucial interceptions, defence splitting passes and won many one-vs-one battles

----------------------

LOS CAMDEN

Steven Murad (GK) – those who have Moo in their fantasy league squads will be celebrating the extra points from his brilliant penalty save. His sharp stop was fantastic as the penalty was very well struck. Steven was vocal and his calm presence was a catalyst for this win in very tricky conditions

Sacha Nusenbaum (CM) - in difficult conditions, Sacha was excellent today, winning headers and getting stuck in. The conditions meant little flowing football could be played and Sacha’s tenacity and bravery in the middle of the park was unrivalled

Stirling Kay (Manager) – had to juggle two injuries to his two starting strikers, cleverly tinkered his line-up using his bench to navigate this cup win through poor playing conditions, sin bins and injuries

----------------------

REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A

Matt Kemp (GK) - Getting better and better week by week, and made a couple of world class saves against

----------------------

SCRABBLE FC A

Oli Richardson ( Left-back) - did not put a foot wrong all morning making some great blocks and scoring the goal direct from a corner

Barnaby Powell (CB) - top performance against Faithfold potent attack

----------------------

HENDON UNITED SPORTS

Zac Garbacz (D) - solid defensive and game and played well going forward, unlucky not to get a goal

Chaim Korman (S) - just getting better every single week. Went past players as if they weren’t even there, nutmegs, skills the whole lot. Caused two or three players to trip over their own feet when trying to tackle him and grabbed a goal and couple of assists once again

----------------------

FC TEAM

Dan Breger (CM) - scored a great goal and battled non stop against SPEC

----------------------

HERTSWOOD VALE

REFEREE - Andy Myerson - we were extremely lucky to have Andy referee us. Although I’ll never agree with every single one of a referee’s decisions (where would the fun be in that?), I thought his overall control of the game, explanation of decisions and confidence meant that the game was managed perfectly. He absolutely needs to win referee of the week

----------------------

FAITHFOLD DOC MM A

Lorian Madanes (RW) - scored two great goals, delivery was top-class and was fantastic up and down the pitch all 90. MOTM

Gideon Caller (GK) - went in nets at the last minute and was a real wall. Came off his line well and made several top stops. Only an own goal thwarted him and a clean sheet
