JC CYRIL ANEKSTEIN CUP QUARTER-FINAL
Brady Maccabi A 3 Southgate Harmen A 1
A deadly double from TJ Keterman put Brady into the hat for the semi-finals as they overcame Premier Division rivals Harmen A at Rowley Lane.
With Paul Hakim back in South Africa, Jon Green stepped up to the plate to seal the win.
Harmen's goal came through Avi Markiewitz.
Brady boss Josh Rosenfeld told JC Sport: "We dominated the game from the first whistle. My boys were up for the game and it showed.
"We didn't take our foot off the gas and went in 3-0 up at half time and it could have been more. We expected Harmen to have more possession in the second half but we kept them at bay and their goal came from a sloppy mistake our end.
"A very pleasing performance with some of the best football I have seen this year with any team and created a number of chances.
"That now four wins and a draw from our last five games. I couldn't be happier. We need to continue this run in to next week."
Harmen boss Dan Uzan told JC Sport: "Credit to Brady who played well and deserved to go through to the semi-finals.
"We are disappointed with our performance and know we need to improve quickly as we face Hendon next week in the league.
"We conceded three in the first half and didn't really get into the game until the second half.
"Alex Bourne came on and made a huge difference setting up a fine strike for Avi Markiewitz. But we can't complain about the score and need to dig deep for the rest of the season."
