JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
- NICKY WOOLF (Raiders B) - it took a moment of genuine brilliance to break the deadlock against Scrabble - Woolf playing his first game since his recent marriage, dropped deep to pick up the ball 35 yards out after 33 minutes. He somehow stayed upright riding challenges from two Scrabble midfielders at the same time before hammering a 30-yard screamer in to the roof of the net

- ROCKY SPITZER (Hendon A) - fabulous team goal spreading play from left to right intricate pass from Dovi Fehler to Rocky bursting into box to finish coolly

Strikes from Rocky Spitzer, Yoav Kestenbaum and Zack Lewis helped Hendon become the second team to beat last season's champions in a five-goal thriller.
Liron Mannie bagged a brace for Raiders but it was David Garbacz's troops who came away with their second straight win to finish the weekend on top on goal difference.
Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "Raiders will come again this season I'm sure, and despite their start it would be foolish to write them off, but we are delighted to leave them six points in our wake and two out of two wins is a great start to the season. We will be challenging for this title come next year make no mistake about that."
NLR manager Daniel Shafron told JC Sport: "These last two weeks haven't been easy with several injuries and boys away in key positions who have been at the core of this team over the last couple of years but they're all nearly back and I can feel that it's only a matter of time before we turn this around."

A solitary strike from Dean Nyman was enough to give Redbridge their second win as they saw off Oakwood.
RJC boss Jon Jacobs told JC Sport: "This is a game that Redbridge would have lost last season but there is a Plan B now with players more than happy to mix it when needed. The pitch didn’t help either team as it was bobbly but we will take the win, in the knowledge that you can’t play champagne football every week."
Oaks joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "Don’t write us off yet, we will be in the title hunt at the end of the season and we look forward to the return trip to Essex where we will also be able to welcome back six or seven players that were not involved."

Further strikes from Josh Newman and an own goal sealed SPEC's second defeat.
Brady co-boss Josh Dagul told JC Sport: "Elliott and I are delighted with the team performance. We knew that we would have to step up our level with promotion to the Prem and all 13 players delivered on the day. James Gershfield scored the only goal as Lions maintained their perfect start with a hard-fought win over Camden.
MLL joint-manager Joe Marsh told JC Sport: "We have started the season with two wins but we have not hit top form or anywhere where close to it and have slightly struggled, but a win is a win and we look forward to mixing it with the best and it looks like it’s going to be a very good league this year."
Camden's Nick Kagan told JC Sport: "Despite the result, there are a lot of positives to take out of the game. Overall, I thought we deserved a point, but credit to Lions/Harmen for shutting us out - even though they rode their luck a little bit."
