JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- RICHARD FOGELMAN (Faithfold B) - Dele Alli-esque flicked over a man and volleyed into the top corner from the edge of the box

- RICHARD FOGELMAN (Faithfold B) - Louis Taylor on the right hooked the ball in with his left foot right in the danger area and found Fogelman who cleverly got clear of his marker and headed it across the goal leaving the keeper stranded

- JEFF GOTCH (Catford & Bromley) - played a one two with Jason Shoffman and hit an unstoppable shot top corner from just outside the box

- JAKE SAUNDERS (Camden Park) - scored one of the finest goals ever seen in Sunday league football with a brilliant swerving shot from 35 yards out

- ADAM ELLIS (Hendon B) - An audacious chip by Adam Ellis from about 40-45 yards out that had the keeper rooted to the spot who watched it sail over his head

- ADAM ABADI (Lions B) - flicked the ball up to himself with his back toward goal, on the edge of the box, turned and volleyed it into the net, keeper didn’t move. Wonder goal

- JOSH BLOOM (Lions B) - Abadi played a neat ball in to him which he back heeled first time into the corner. Cheeky!

- GAV KRIEGER (Finchley City FC) - 25-yard free-kick against Bilbaum on his Finchley debut

- DANIEL HARROD (Brady Maccabi) - started by nutmegging the FC Team defender on the left around 25 yards out before bending the ball into the top right corner leaving the GK stranded. Absolute worldie from the Brady captain

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS

- JAMES STANTON (Faithfold B) - "Yes we are delighted with the three points and we can definitely draw many positives from today but we don't want get ahead of ourselves, the fact I could've done all my Rosh Hashana shopping mid-game is an indicator of how busy I was in goal"

- DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - "We'd like to take this opportunity to wish all our fans a happy new year, a year where we will be looking to deliver them some title silver wear to go with their Apple and honey"

- MAX SAUNDERS (Camden Park) - "It was a great performance where we dominated the best footballing team in the league for the majority of the game. Although credit to Hendon, they showed their class in being clinical enough to win games where they were not on top for large parts of the game"

- JOSH HAMBLING (Redbridge JC C) - "Firstly, I want to quash any rumours of paparazzi spotting the manager stumbling out of Stratford casino at 4am singing Frank Sinatra greatest hits!"

YOUR WEEKEND REVIEW STARTS HERE:

CYRIL ANEKSTEIN CUP ROUND ONE

BOCA JEWNIORS 0 FC TEAM B 2
FC Team B will host Hertswood Vale in round two after Eitan Ben Zion and Eddie Sternberg masterminded a 2-0 victory over Boca Jewniors.

Boca co-boss Elliot Grant told JC Sport: "We lacked the attacking prowess needed to score the first goal in the first half despite playing some wonderful football down the wings. The defence we excellent and held a high line and every ball the opposition played through were being caught on the offside trap. The second half was played with high intensity and we were disappointed with the award of both goals - one for offside, the other for an injury."
