JC GOAL OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
- SAM MODLIN (Oakwood B) - stunning lob over the Fortune goalkeeper with the outside of his foot. Fourth goal in three games for him
- DOVI FEHLER (Hendon Utd) - after a flowing team move, the ball arrived at Fehler's feet on the edge of the box. A tight touch and quick fire shot through the defenders legs in to the bottom far corner. A superb striker’s goal and no less than he deserved
- BEN WINTERS (ML Lions Blue) - a short corner was played to him on the left-hand side of the box, he beat one man and from the top left corner of the 18-yard box hit a stinging shot which was moving all over the place and nestled into the top right-hand corner
- JOEL KUTNER (Los Blancos) - Gideon Rabstein's long clearance was knocked into the path of Joel Kutner who carried the ball and lobbed home from 30-yard
- OLI SADE (Los Blancos) - GOAL 2 - channelled his inner Diego Maradona (vs England) and produced the moment of the match, picking up the ball on the half-way line dribbled around four players before slotting home coolly with his left foot
- DANIEL GARFINKLE (Fairlop FC) - tidy play down the left-hand side freed up Brad Gayer in the middle 40 yards out, he plays a delightful ball into JJ who smartly let the ball run through his legs which ran through to Garfinkle who skipped away from his man. And went one-on-one with the goalkeeper and coolly opened his body and bent the ball into the net - a great team goal

JC SAVE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
- BEN LAW (NL Raiders B) - excellent stop from a one-on-one, staying big to smother a goal-bound effort
- SAM FRANKS (Sedgley Park) - brilliant block in a one-on-one, keeping out a strike hit with power and heading into the top corner, only for Franks to tip it onto the underside of the bar
- DAVID GARSON (Faithfold B) - with the score 2-1, a shot was hit from the edge of the six-yard box and going towards the bottom left-hand corner, but Garson somehow managed to get his left hand to it and palm it up and over the bar, a la Gordon Banks

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS

YOUR WEEKEND PREVIEW STARTS HERE:
PETER MORRISON TROPHY ROUND THREE
MACCABI LONDON LIONS BLUE 3 SEDGLEY PARK CELTIC 2
Jordan Aspis, Ben Winters and Michael Kenley struck as Lions Blue came through a tense five-goal thriller against an ill-disciplined Sedgley Park team who finished with just eight men following three red cards.
Sedgley's first dismissal came after just five minutes. Aspis then put the hosts ahead before Moses Seitler beat squared for Jack Burman to level for 10-man Sedgley. Berman put Sedgley ahead early in the second half before the visitors were reduced to nine. A worldie from Winters drew Lions level which was followed by Sedgley's third red. Kenley completed the comeback with a header, finally ending the heroics of goalkeeper Sam Franks.
Lions boss Sam Marchant told JC Sport: “This was a strange game to say the least. We expected a tough physical battle from the Manchester side and they definitely showed that. It was a struggle at times for us, but we did what had to be done and that is all that matters.”
DC Prediction: Lions 3 Sedgley 1

Los Blancos stormed into the top five after denting Raiders B's title hopes with a thrilling 3-2 victory - one of the surprise results of the day, courtesy of a brace from Oli Sade plus one from Jamie Kutner.
Blancos led 2-0 when David Dinkin halved the deficit. The next goal was crucial and it went the way of Blancos before Anthony Goodmaker set up a grandstand finish with a second for NLR. Throwing caution to the wind in a bid to equalise in the final minutes, NLR keeper Ben Law went up from a corner but headed wide of the target.
Blancos' Joel Barnett told JC Sport: "Credit to Raiders who tried to make it difficult with some tough challenges but we dug deep found fifth gear and comfortably won this tie."
