Temple Fortune have appointed Jonathan Cohen as assistant-manager. He has been working closely with boss Lee Fegan who says that Cohen “has settled into his new role very well and has hit the ground running”.
Fegan has also appointed Adam Morris as coach and is in talks to bring in another. On the playing front, Jason Miller faces a spell on the sidelines after breaking two ribs in a pre-season friendly defeat against Los Blancos, while Ben Isaacs has suffered a setback on his return from a cruciate injury.
There is some good news for Fortune fans, however, after attacking midfielder Michael Goldberg committed himself to the club following interest from Brixton, Norstar and Boca Jewniors. He said: ““We have a great bunch of lads and hopefully have a few decent signings up our sleeves to add to that.
“Last season was disappointing but a lot of our players haven’t stopped playing football over the summer and now it’s a new season.
“I really won't be surprised if you see us up there challenging for the title.”
