Season 2012/13 preview: Redbridge Jewish Care B

articlemain

It's been all change at Redbridge B with Jon Jacobs taking over the reins, and bringing in several talented youngsters.

Competitions entered: We are essentially a new team as the majority of the boys are from my Under 16's last season so we have only entered the league and Cyril Anekstein.

Hopes for the season: To be competetive and surprise a few people with our mix of youth and some experience

Main challengers: The biggest threat will come from Glenthorne B

Are you looking to strengthen in any areas? The squad is virtually complete.

Captain: Dan Gordon, who will bring his leadership into mentoring the younger boys.

Ones to watch and why? Scott Oldstein is my young player to watch. He's been selected for the GB under-18 Maccabiah and is great going forward on the left-hand side. Matt Kemp in goal will also be a star in the making as at 16 , he is the best keeper I have seen at that age, whilst Ben Binder who is new to Jewish football and Dan Gordon up front will be a real handful for any defence.

Home ground: Fairlop

Sponsor: Sweets

What will your team bring to the league? Something new, we're always looking to play on the floor and playing attractive football.
