Ben Simon has made a big statement of intent in the transfer market, with the acquisition of Mitch Lassman boosting FC Team B's promotion. He reveals all to Danny Caro.
Competitions entered: The usual, plus Peter Morrison
Hopes for the season: We are aiming for the title this year. Many of the squad have tasted league title success before and after the last few years of mid table mediocrity, I feel now is the time for us to push on and grab the title. If we fall short, promotion is the minumum requirement for this season and we are all looking forward to the challenge.
Main challenger: I think Glenthorne B will be the team to beat.
New signings: We've made a few new signings over the summer, including form Premier Division hotshot Mitch Lassman and former Temple Fortune boys Jon Fisher and Daniel Woolfe, and have lost one first team player to the FC Team A.
Is your squad complete or are you still looking to strengthen? I feel we have strong midfield and well-balanced squad throughout with potentially up to 20 players to choose from.
One to watch and why? I think Mitch Lassman is looking at securing the golden boot this year although impending fatherhood may temporarily distract him mid-season.
Home ground: Meadow Park, Borehamwood.
Sponsors: Guardian Inheritance
What will your team bring to the league this season? A combination of hard work and flair and hopefully with the stereotypical MSFL whining kept to a minimum.
