Pinner power home

articlemain

A brace from captain Jeremy Ben-Nathan earned Pinner JFC the Watford Friendly League Under 11 seven-a-side red division title after they beat leaders Panathaniakos 2-1.

The blues knew that only a win would secure the championship but they had the worst start possible when an early goal conceded suggested that they would finish the season both league and cup runners-up.

Pinner also picked up the WFL Fair Play Award while Ben Graham claimed the Golden Boot with 26 goals.

The squad: Tom Ancuta, Nathan Appleby, Jeremy Ben-Nathan, Harry Frohlich, James Freedman, Thomas Goulde, Ben Graham, Maxim Green, Jack Kahn, Jonathan Pein, Jacob Taylor, George Weston. Managers Gary Appleby and Ray Green
