MGBSFL DIVISION TWO
SCRABBLE 3 ATHLETIC BILBAUM 0

Ray Abrahams insists he is satisfied with Scrabble's start to the season following a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bilbaum in Willesden.

Strikes from Zak McLeod, Adam Pearlman and Mitch Green saw Scrabble marked their return from a 10-year sabbatical by turning on the style.

The hosts took the lead with a wonder strike from McLeod after a few minutes and went on to score twice more before half time with Pearlman and Green before consolidating in the second half.

Scrabble boss Ray Abrahams told JC Sport: "We watched a superb display between the sticks from Adam Solomons who rolled back the years with some superb saves and was a credit to the club and himself.

"Superb performances from our central midfield pair Joshua Flax and Jobathan Peters and a solid display from Sam Ruback at centre back.

"All in all we are very satisfied with the way the season has started and in fact this game was our third win in a row scoring 11 and conceding just 1.

"It's a long season but very pleased with today's performance from the boys."
