Oldham Athletic will offer a trial to the best junior player from Australian club Maccabi Hakoah playing in the Youth Development League team.

YDL chairman Jon Marcuson told the Australian Jewish News: “This is the most exciting thing to happen to Maccabi-Hakoah FC. ”We chose Oldham deliberately. We think it is a good place for players coming through. It gives them a fair chance to break in and from there, anything’s possible.”
