Lara Nyman, 18, has qualified for the World Triathlon Championships after coming through some tough competition at the trials in Northampton.
Nyman claimed her spot on the GB age group team after emerging as the fastest woman in the 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run from a field of 700.
Her next race is the Blenheim sprint which is part of the televised British Triathlon Super Series, where Nyman will be competing against top senior GB triathletes.
