No kids play

articlemain

The MJSL have confirmed that there will be no junior section this year due to low numbers.

Last season saw the league run an Under 10 Division made up by three teams from South Manchester, two from Manchester Maccabi and one from Broughton and champions Haroldeans. This season, South Manchester Sports Club will enter their youth teams into the Altrincham & Timperley and Thameside Leagues.

Outgoing junior league chairman Jonny Davis said: "It's a great shame and people will almost certainly come out of the woodwork and say why haven't you got one. The answer is simple. There is no point in playing against the same team four times."
