LEEDS MACCABI 0 MANCHESTER MACCABI 1st 2
Scott McGarvey’s side, who play in the Cheshman League, had too much for their Yorkshire hosts played on a poor pitch.
Manager McGarvey said: "We are playing some good stuff without always earning the rewards.
"And although we have had a couple of setbacks in the league, we are confident we will be challenging on all fronts come the end of the season."
Leeds boss Adam Kristall was proud of his side's display, despite the loss, and said: "It was a fantastic team effort and we managed to compete against some of the best Jewish footballers in the UK.
“We stayed in the game and you could tell from their cheers when they scored their second that they were relieved.
“They knew they had been in a game at the final whistle.”

Haroldeans boss Mike Bloomberg praised his side's ruthlessness in front of goal following a 10-goal demolition of Prestfield.
The Merseysiders ran riot and Bloomberg said: “We were very clinical and some of our football was outstanding.
“We didn't take our foot off the gas. This is a competition we want to go as far as we can in.
“All credit to Prestfield, they kept going for 90 minutes, but we were at the top of our game."
